Pineapple Upside Down Cake

1 81/2 oz. can sliced pineapple rings, drain and reserve the juice
1 Yellow cake mix
1 3 1/2 oz package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 Tablespoons butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
Maraschino Cherries
Fix this in a 10" D.O.
Mix the cake mix according to package directions and add the dry pudding mix as well.  Substitute pineapple juice for water in the directions.  If you don't have enough juice add some water to make up the difference.  While you are making up the cake batter, set you 10" D.O. in the firepan over 6 to 8 coals and melt the butter.  When the butter is melted, sprinkle in the brown sugar.  Starting on the outside of the D.O., place the pineapple rings all the way around with one in the center.  Place a maraschino cherry in the center of each pineapple ring.  Pour the cake batter over the pineaaple rings.
Bake for 25 - 30 minutes with 14 coals on top and 5 underneath.
Cool for 15 minutes, then  Invert D.O. over a seving plate, place on rack and cool.
