Pizza



We made and froze the dough from the 4th of July.  We thawed the dough out on Sunday July 31 and made the Pizza on Monday August 1stJ, rolled it out to fit the lid of the 15 “Deep Dutch Oven.  We put a little cornmeal flour on the lid first so it would not stick and we built the Pizza right on the lid.  We got 25 coals going, we used 10 underneath the lid, turn the pot upside down and place 15 coals on it.  Cook 30 minutes.

  1. Just found your blog and am enjoying the pictures. I've BBQed pizza in my Weber and loved it. Now I will try pizza tomorrow on open fire with my D.O. Your pizza looks awesome, should be fun!
